In 1972, three major cement companies of Saudi Arabia formed Cement Product Industry Co. Ltd. (CPI), with an objective to meet their requirements of paper sacks.

Over the years, the company expanded its customer base and become a major supplier of multilayer paper sacks not only to Saudi Arabia but also to neiboring countries.

Cement Product Industry Co. Ltd. Is located in the Jeddah Industrial City Phase IV, south of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

CPI is equipped with new production facilities according to the latest technology in the feild of manufacturing paper sacks. These machines and installations allow the production of a wide range of paper sacks in all different dimensions for the industrial packing of any goods such as construction materials, chemical products, petrochemical products, fertilizers, foodstuff, animal feed, flour, agricultural products and many other products.

The actual annual production capacity is 150 million sacks. CPI enjoys a honourable reputation in the Middle East markets due to the high quality of its products, its reliability in deliveries and its effective after sales services.

CPI can provide its clients with wide range of glued valve sacks for industrial use.

The range includes but is not limited to the following types of sacks:

- Sacks made of up to 4 plies of high quality paper for the filling cement, building material, auxiliary materials for the construction industry, food products, flour, cereals etc.

- Sacks made of up to 3 plies of paper with one layer of plastic film for the petrochemical industry, fertilizers, do-it-yourself products such as ready mix, mortar etc.

- Sacks made of up to 3 layers of paper with one layer of laminate such as paper/Plastic, Paper/Alumunium/Plastic for product sensitive to moisture or contamination such as foodstuff, chemical products, animal feed. Fertilizers etc.

CPI can manufacture sacks othe following types;

- Glued valve Sacks
- Open mouth Sacks
- Glued valve sacks with hermetiv valve
- Glued valve sacks with tubular valve

The above mentioned different types of sacks can be manufactured in any commonly used size with the following range:

Sack width: Min.18 cm max.75 cm

Sack length: Min.25 cm max.116 cm

Bottom width: Min.7 cm max.18 cm


QUALITY CONTROL
CPI is fully equipped with day-to-day laboratory with most modern testing equipment, thus allowing the testing of raw materials and finished sacks according to all applied international standards.
Every lot of raw material received at the plant is tested to assure its conformity with the requested specifications. The produced sacks are continously tested at random according to the international standards and to the specifications set by the customer.
This continous quality control gives our products a high reputation in all our markets.

GROWTH
CPI started production in 1972 with one production line having a capacity of 12 million sacks per year. The Production increased through three decades, and in the year 2000, reached 35 million sacks.

After the decision of developing CPI, the new management took decisive stpes reagrding the production machinery and the marketing activities. Soon (in the year 2001) the production Volume was increased to 47 million sacks and in 2004 to 87 million sacks. In 2005 the production reached to 123 million sacks
